BOMA/Chicago Trade Show: Your Exclusive Destination for CRE Market Insight and Networking

By BOMA/Chicago

Have you booked your booth or registered for BOMA/Chicago’s 6th Annual Trade Show? If not, the clock is ticking. Our expo is just three weeks away!

Many industries host an expo so that companies can showcase their latest products and services to a large audience of potential buyers. After all, this is the whole point of an expo. But BOMA/Chicago takes its own Trade Show a step further.

Our expo is a member-exclusive business and networking opportunity for both our Affiliate and Building Members. Exhibitors are vetted members with strong credentials and qualifications who have a thorough understanding of property management business needs. The BOMA/Chicago Trade Show incites a dialogue between CRE buyers and sellers about ways to create cost-effective and efficient buildings. This singular goal creates a unique connection amongst our members and the trade show floor provides the space to reach this goal.

Now in its sixth year, our show is still going strong and continues to offer a great deal of value to all who attend. Whether you will be attending for the first time or if you have joined us in the past, this year’s show will offer new CRE market insights and the opportunity for building members to meet industry experts, network with colleagues and develop resourceful contacts for future needs, problem-solving and referrals. Your excursion to the Merchandise Mart will also allow you to build and strengthen your team as you network with other professionals and learn about the latest products and services in the marketplace. The exhibitors will help you discover ways to successfully manage operationally sound buildings while the other Building Members you meet can share information about what products and services worked best for them.

The BOMA/Chicago Trade Show is an interactive classroom and networking hub where you are surrounded by industry experts, colleagues and friends. So be sure to clear your calendar on October 2 at 2PM and join us at the Mart for the 6th Annual BOMA/Chicago Trade Show!

Did we forget to mention that the Trade Show is FREE for all of Building Members and their teams? Building Members receive complimentary access to both the Trade Show and the post-show reception at John Barleycorn, sponsored by Able Services, for continued networking and the chance to win some amazing raffle prizes.

BOMA/Chicago will be working with IUOE Local 399 this year to invite Chief Engineers to the Trade Show and we encourage all Building Members to bring their engineers to the Trade Show, too.  Having all members of your property management team at the show will help you make collective, efficient and knowledgeable decisions about how your building can go from good to great.

Benefits surrounding the Trade Show are not only confined to our Building Members. All of our Affiliate Members who become Trade Show exhibitors will gain exposure to hundreds of decision-making property professionals while building and strengthening relationships with current and prospective clients.  Once you purchase booth space, BOMA/Chicago promotes your company in all of our marketing outlets leading up to the Trade Show. Then, come October 2, you are able to stand in front of your target audience and explain the latest features and advancements of your products and services.

Max Andrews

Max Andrews has represented Matting By Design at the BOMA/Chicago Trade Show for the last five years.  When asked why he found the Trade Show to be a valuable event to him and his company, Andrews said, “Purchasing a booth allows me to reconnect with and show new products to existing customers while reaching out to new customers. The Trade Show not only strengthens my relationships with customers, but with the entire Commercial Real Estate industry.”

Another Affiliate Member, Nancy White from Greens by White, explains that she finds the Trade Show valuable to her company because she is able to get feedback on the current and future needs of clients. By attending the Trade Show, White states that she is able to “meet prospective clients while listening to their holiday and interiorscape needs and design ideas.”

Alex Cooper from North American Corporation purchases a booth at the Trade Show because he views the expo as a can’t miss networking opportunity. According to Cooper, “It’s hard to get in front of customers with their busy schedules these days, so the trade show is another beneficial way of presenting new ideas and discussing opportunities to help them manage their properties more efficiently and effectively. Plus, other kinds of networking events can be overwhelming and put you in a time crunch, but with the BOMA/Chicago Trade Show, you have plenty of time to walk the show, meet everyone and also have a good time networking during the after party.”
