In commercial real estate, the word “asset” strikes images in our minds of beautiful, tall and well-maintained office buildings. These buildings are the foundation to the entire CRE industry and so are the professionals who run them.
We sometimes overlook that those professionals who speak so proudly of their buildings are assets themselves. Although we may find ourselves personifying downtown office buildings in our conversations, the truth is that these buildings do not operate on their own. Behind the curtains of shining steel and antique brick are the men and women who uphold these world-class towers.
At the 2014 TOBY/Gold Circle Awards Gala on January 30, we will recognize both assets – downtown Chicago’s prestigious office properties and the variety of professionals who keep our skyline glowing bright. The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award will be presented to five buildings that have demonstrated excellence over the past year and the Gold Circle Award will be handed to five BOMA/Chicago members who continually exemplify professionalism and leadership in the industry.
The upcoming TOBY/Gold Circle Awards Gala will be held in the Great Hall at Chicago’s Union Station. This premier industry event is exclusive to BOMA/Chicago members and will include a cocktail reception, dinner, awards presentation and post-reception. The Gala serves as a wonderful backdrop for over 500 guests to recognize our distinguished winners and network with friends and colleagues. Registration opens on January 2, 2014. Tickets for this year’s Gala are $200 each or you may purchase a table of 10 for $2000.
For our Affiliate Members, the TOBY/Gold Circle Awards Gala provides an atmosphere to maximize their visibility through a TOBY/Gold Circle sponsorship. Our $2500 CUBE sponsorship represents a new and exciting approach for affiliates to readily display their ongoing commitment to supporting operational excellence in the industry. By purchasing this sponsorship, affiliates will be able to display their logo on two giant, rotating cubes in the Great Hall during the Gala. CUBE sponsorships also include two complimentary tickets. We encourage affiliates to secure their sponsorships now, as the CUBE will be the only sponsorship available and spots are limited. To purchase a sponsorship, please complete the TOBY/Gold Circle Sponsorship Form.
